Netflix completes the cast of Catherine Tate’s Prison series – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Netflix has defined the cast for Hard cell, the mock prison documentary for women created by Doctor Who actress Catherine Tate.

Produced by Leopard Pictures, backed by Argonon, Tate plays several characters in the six-part series, as a team of documentaries follows inmates and staff at HMP Woldsley.

His co-stars include Christian Brassington (Poldark) as dean; Niky Wardley (Call the midwife) like Anastasia; Lorna Brown (Devils) like Cal; Caroline Harding (Coronation Street) like Sal; Jola Olajide (The powerr) like Charlee; and Duncan Wisbey (Close to the enemy) like Martin.

Wardley and Alex Carter are part of the creative team behind Hard cell. Kristian Smith is the executive producer.
