To help his mother pay the rent on her house, a young man has taken to the streets to do what he can do best: play the violin.

A woman known as Lexy Kadey saw him and knew he really needed help. Before this meeting, Lexy launched a Venmo challenge which raised $ 1,000 (N 411,470.00).

The woman launched her challenge on TikTok in the wake of the pandemic that has left so many families out of work. Company money is always given to foreigners who need it.

She gave him $ 1000 (N411 470.00)

Lexy approached him and asked him how much he had amassed so far playing the instrument, Kevin replied $ 175 (N 72,007.25), which is hundreds of dollars less than what was needed for pay the rent.

Lexy says to him:

“So if I gave you $ 1,000, would that cover it?” I do this thing every week, it’s called the Venmo challenge. My Venmo followers get me 50 cents, a dollar, so hopefully that will cover your mom’s rent.

When he was given the money, Kevin was stunned. A few moments later, he started to smile as tears fell from his eyes.

The man thanked the woman and all of her Tik Tok followers who made the donation possible.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh Earlier reported that a man, Donte Franklin, who walked several miles to work each day received the kind of help he never imagined months ago.

It all started when a Good Samaritan, Michael Lynn, once saw Donte walking and asked him why he was doing it. He revealed that he traveled over eight miles to and from work so he could put food on his family’s table.

Driving the miles to Buffalo Wild Wings where he works takes him over two and a half hours. No matter how difficult his shift was, he repeated the same arduous path back home.
