Former South African President Jacob Zuma’s daughter Jabu has denounced British model Naomi Campbell after accusing her father of “fueling the division”.
Campbell had said that Zuma’s contempt for court orders and the ensuing imprisonment had divided the country.
She said the unrest sparked by Zuma supporters threatened the late Nelson Mandela’s vision for a prosperous South Africa.
Mandela, an anti-apartheid hero and South Africa’s first black president, led the country’s transition from white minority rule in the 1990s, after 27 years in prison for his political activities.
Campbell’s open letter was posted on his Instagram:
