Ronda Rousey has lashed out at WWE fans, apparently blaming them for Bray Wyatt’s recent exit from the pro wrestling giant.
Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has never been one to mince words. The Rowdy One has regularly shot at their opponents, from MMA star Meisha Tate to WWE “Man” Becky Lynch. However, his attention turned to the WWE fan base after fans expressed their displeasure with Bray Wyatt’s exit online and WWE’s return to Chicago for Monday evening gross.
Rousey appears to have blamed WWE fans for Wyatt’s exit in one of his last Twitter posts. Her post follows an episode of Monday Night Raw where a vocal crowd chanted “CM Punk” and “We Want Wyatt” multiple times during the show, the latter of which angered Rousey.
Rousey accuses fans chanting “We Want Wyatt” of being the same chanting “we want beach balls” and trying to hijack shows while the talent was in the ring, calling fans the “ungrateful idiots” who were. to blame for Wyatt’s reservation.
Criticizing the WWE fan base is not a new move for Rousey. After the 2018 Survivor series where she was heavily booed after her match with Charlotte Flair, she criticized fans on social media for their seemingly fickle attitude towards her. She has since moved away from the struggle to focus on her family, as Rousey is expecting her first child with her husband Travis Browne.

Bray Wyatt was released from his WWE contract on July 31, a move that would have surprised many in WWE. He is the latest in a growing list of WWE releases in 2021, which includes new AEW stars Malakai Black and Andrade el Idolo, as well as Braun Strowman, Buddy Murphy, Lana, the Iiconics, Mickie James, Ruby. That being said, it’s also fair to say that WWE leadership is more responsible for Wyatt’s inconsistent booking during his 12 years with the company. Wyatt’s most recent run is a case in point, as his new character “Fiend” received almost universal praise when he debuted in the first segments of Firefly Funhouse in the summer of 2019.
