Angola recovers 265 people from coronavirus, registers 111 new cases

Angolan laboratories processed 3,572 samples

Health authorities have recovered, in the past 24 hours, 265 Covid-19 patients, aged 9 months to 86 years, and recorded 111 new cases.

Those recovered live 95 in Luanda, 58 in Lunda Norte, 52 in Cunene, 21 in Moxico, 15 in Huambo, 5 in Huíla, 5 in Lunda Sul, 5 in Namibe, 4 in Cuanza Sul, 3 in Benguela and 2 in Cabinda.

According to the daily report, the new cases live in the provinces of Luanda (28), Cuanza Sul (21), Lunda Sul (14), Huíla (12), Moxico (11), Cunene (11), Huambo (9), Benguela (2), Lunda Norte (2) and Namibe (1), aged 2 to 87, 76 men and 35 women.

Six deaths were also reported in the provinces of Luanda, Huíla and Namibe.

The laboratories processed 3,572 samples.

The authorities are checking 156 people in institutional quarantine centers, 750 under epidemiological surveillance and 142 in treatment centers.

Angola has 43,269 positive cases, 1,032 deaths, 39,847 recovered and 2,390 active.

Among the active, 10 are in critical condition, 15 severe, 65 moderate, 32 mild and 2,268 asymptomatic.
