The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) national youth organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, has embarked on discussions about the “#Repair the Country “ demonstration organized by some aggrieved Ghanaians on Wednesday August 4, 2021.
Hundreds of Ghanaians have taken to the streets of Accra to demonstrate their discontent with the governance of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
They were holding up signs with a bit of reading; “Ghana is the most religious but the most corrupt”, “If Ghana were your personal property, would you run it like this? “,” No to nepotism, to the government of family and friends “,” Fix Dumsor “ among others.
Addressing host Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM “Kokrokoo,” Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, firmly asserted that the president is already fixing the country, thus questioning the logic of embarking on such a protest.
Nana B noted that the president has done exceptionally well in examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy and the ravages of the pandemic on Ghana’s growth.
“His Excellency, the President, he mends the country and every day he works … I will pray to God to continually give Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wisdom, strength, courage and divine guidance to execute effectively its functions, ” he said.
He added that, under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo, “Ghana’s economy is currently one of the best in the world … because they rate the economy with the negative impact of COVID-19 and COVID-19 has affected every nation … I” was proud to be Ghanaian but how we got through this COVID-19 made me super proud to be a Ghanaian. ”
Nana B thought the ‘FixtheCountry’ activists had an ulterior motive.
