Shehnaaz Gill calls Sidharth Shukla his “family”: “Our bond is different”

Shehnaaz Gill, along with Yashraj Mukhate, appeared in the first episode of Social Media Star With Janice Season 3. On the show, she explained her connection to Sidharth and why SidNaaz, a name given to the couple by their fans, continue to remain popular on social media. When host Janice Sequeira asked the reason for SidNaaz’s popularity, Shehnaaz explained that the bond between her and Sidharth during their time in the Bigg Boss house was “pure,” which is why fans still feel connected to them.

“The only secret that explains why SidNaaz is still a thing is because it’s genuine. We shared a pure relationship. I think people are connecting to this. The way he worshiped me and gave me love, I felt really good about that. We both had the same kind of feelings for each other. It was very cute. I myself agree that my relationship with him is different. He’s like my family, ”Shehnaaz replied.

During another session of the show, Shehnaaz was asked to perform a challenge. In the task, she had to send a threatening voice note to one of her Bigg Boss friends. At first, Shehnaaz said that she “has no friends” from Bigg Boss. However, later she decided to send the vocal note to Sidharth which she affectionately calls “Siddy”. Janice also noticed that Sidharth’s chat window was blank, which left Shehnaaz chuckling and blushing.

On the work side, Sidharth was last seen in Broken But Beautiful Season 3, which marked its OTT debut. Shehnaaz, meanwhile, invades Instagram with her photos of Photo shoot by Dabboo Ratnani. She has also completed filming for her film Honsla Rakh, where she stars alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa. Shehnaaz, who was also featured in the Badshah track, was recently spotted at Mukesh Chhabra’s Mumbai office, which sparked rumors if a Bollywood project was in the works for her.

Sidharth, who was also part of Bigg Boss 14 as one of the Toofani Seniors, could appear in Bigg Boss OTT. According to a source, Sidharth and Shehnaaz could be guests on the show, which is hosted by Karan Johar. “While they might not be able to be a part of the whole trip, the team is trying to get them as guests. Besides kicking off the season, they could also help the contestants by sharing their success mantra, ”a source said.

Bigg Boss OTT will begin streaming from August 8 on Voot.
