Shadrach Owusu, a former student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, was recently recognized as one of the youngest people to hold an official position in the government of Ghana.

Shadrach is currently a communications strategist at the Department of Energy.

A publication in Typical Black revealed that Shadrach, born March 28, 1995, graduated from Adisal College high school and went to KNUST where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering.

This communications strategist holds a Masters of Business Administration in Petroleum Accounting and Finance from the University of Professional Studies.

He also obtained a Master of Arts in Political Communication from Cardiff University in the UK.

With an engineering background, Shadrach is a member of the Ghana Institute of Engineering (GhIE).

Be a youth leader

Shadrach previously held a youth leadership role as the National Coordinating Secretary of the National Students’ Union of Ghana (NUGS) and played several roles as a delegate of the International Model United Nations at the University of Cardiff, University of Cambridge and University of Oxford, UK, Typical Black revealed.

In addition to serving as a social media and digital communications strategist for the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Owusu is also a member of the public relations team of the current Minister of Energy of Ghana, the Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

He is one of the few people to hold such a position at a younger age, he revealed to typicalblack.com
