President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving the well-being of the people of the Bono East region and the country as a whole.

He said that upon taking office he assured the good people of Ghana to focus on their well-being and therefore would not give in to the pursuit of such a laudable program to ensure its success.

President Akufo-Addo gave this assurance when he addressed the chiefs and residents of Kintampo North Municipality to mark the start of his two-day working visit to the Bono East region.

The visit aimed to congratulate the population for trusting him for a second term in government and for having first-hand information about their well-being, he said.

The President also wished to know the progress made in the implementation of socio-economic development projects in the region.

He said the municipality is known for its high cashew cultivation and is committed to continuing to support farmers with inputs and materials to boost their business.

Nana Adjei Adinkra, the supreme chief of the traditional area of ​​Mo, on behalf of the heads of the municipality, praised President Akufo-Addo for his keen sense of creativity, initiative and the introduction of policies and pragmatic programs that have had a positive impact on the livelihoods of the population. .
