The House of God Church’s senior pastor of international ministries, Chris Okotie, claimed that Temitope Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nation, SCOAN, was a magician who claimed to be a servant of God.
Recall that the Nigerian televangelist died on June 6 after hosting a program at the church premises in Segun-Irefin Street Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos Nigeria.
His body was buried on July 9 on church premises, as requested by his wife and other family members.
The funeral, which caught the world’s attention, was shunned by top Nigerian pastors.
Their attitude towards the deceased sparked a reaction from some worried Nigerians who attributed their actions to envy.
Meanwhile, in a recent video touring social media, Okotie said the popular Nigerian prophet has never been called by God into the ministry of the gospel.
TB Joshua: Prophet Iginla attacks Chris Okotie, others over comments
He said in the video, “What is the truth about TB Joshua? who was he? Was he a product of Christianity? Or a practitioner of shamanism? Was he a servant of the Lord Jesus? Or a traveling religious charlatan? Okotie asked.
“Was he a true prophet, who was misunderstood? Or a hypocrite disguised in the garment of Faith?
“When God begins a work in the Scriptures, especially from the Old Testament, he begins with patterns, what we call types, shadows.”
“You say why because role models determine the power flow and authenticity of this business. He is a magician, a sorcerer, and calls himself a prophet.
