‘I love my husband’: Notoriously private Margot Robbie talks about the incredible bond she shares with her handsome husband Tom Ackerley
Margot Robbie clearly likes British things.
The Australian actress – who previously shared a house in London with six friends, including her husband Tom Ackerley – is a huge fan of British reality TV and films, as well as his English wife.

Margot met Tom while filming Suite française, where he was an assistant director, and insisted that even looking “hideous” in the film didn’t put him off.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I have been blessed with incredible opportunities.
“I did Wolf of Wall Street, then I did something completely opposite to the French Suite – I was a peasant and looked hideous, but I met my husband at work, so it went.
The couple went on to form a production company, Lucky Chap, with their friends, and Margot feels “very lucky” because of the bond they share.

The Suicide Squad star said, “We started our production company with our best friends and it continues to be a wonderful group dynamic. We all work really well together. I feel very lucky.
Notoriously private Margot rarely talks about her marriage to Tom.
The couple have been married since 2016 after meeting for the first time in 2013 on the set of the WWII drama Suite Française in France.
The couple later became roommates with a group of other friends and lived together on a property in London.
In an interview with Elle in 2018, blonde beauty Margot admitted that she and Tom initially decided to keep their romantic relationship to themselves.
She said: “We kept it a secret. Because we didn’t really take it seriously. “Oh, whatever, we’re just friends, we’re just friends. And then… everyone found out.
“It was dramatic,” she recalls when her friends found out. “I don’t go into specifics, but it hit the fan.
“Our house turned into The Jerry Springer Show for a while there. But then the dust settled and everything went well.
They make a great team: the couple went on to form a production company, Lucky Chap, with their friends, and Margot feels “very lucky” because of the bond they share.
