Another pandemic year means another unusual day of exam results for teens across the country, with Lady Louise Windsor among young people who failed to pass the typical AS and A level exams this summer. Their grades, however, were determined by teacher ratings, meaning the Queen’s granddaughter will still receive an important set of scores today.
Having just completed his first year of the baccalaureate (the AS part of the qualification), results will play a key role in determining his studies in the coming year, as students typically take four subjects at AS level, then reduce them to three. .

Lady Louise Windsor among teens affected by A-level cancellations
Good morning! reports that Lady Louise revealed during an engagement with her father and mother, Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, last September that she chose English, history, politics and theater for his subjects AS. In June of last year, the Countess spoke about her daughter’s academic ambitions, telling the Sunday opening hours: ‘She works hard and will graduate. I hope she will go to college. I wouldn’t force her, but if she wants to. She’s pretty smart.
As with her GCSE results, which Buckingham Palace has called a private matter, it is not expected that Lady Louise’s AS-level scores will be disclosed publicly. Why Lady Louise Windsor could become HRH Princess Louise this year
Louise is expected to turn 18 this year, November 8, when she could potentially become HRH Princess Louise, if she so chooses.
When not working hard in class, Lady Louise is a young lady who enjoys the outdoors and holds her grandparents, the Queen and the late Duke of Edinburgh. Not only is she passionate about horseback riding, often accompanying her grandmother on horseback around the Windsor Estate, but she also has a passion for horse-drawn carriage riding – a sport adored by her late grandfather.
Once again this summer, the young royal took part in the Royal Windsor Horse Show, driving what appeared to be Prince Philip’s beloved horse-drawn carriage.
