With growing interest in US-listed stocks, particularly the stocks of tech giants Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google, NSE International Exchange (NSE IFSC) announced on Tuesday August 10 that it would set up an infrastructure for Indian investors to buy US stocks.
According to a report by The time of India, the new infrastructure will allow fractional ownership investors of US stocks, who would need to open demat accounts with entities based in the GIFT city of the International Financial Services Center (IFSC).
