Terrorists plan attacks on Accra in Ghana, Lagos and other major African cities – AFN reveals

Accra is one of the main African cities that terrorists plan to attack, according to intelligence.

Ghana’s independent peace and security institution, the National Peace Council does not give any clues.

Analysts say it will not be part of a larger plan to penetrate West African shores with dema terrorist activity.

The Executive Secretary of the National Peace Council, Ali Anankpieng, said: “Dem say it, dema plan is to say that they will reach West Africa”.

“We hear dem wan dey inside cities like Accra, Cotonou, Lagos, Abidjan and others,” he adds.

According to the NPC, they plan to say that they will take over the economic centers of the coastal countries of West Africa.

Mr Anankpieng explains that Accra-based Starr FM said that from 2016 Burkina Faso saw violent extremist activity, but they never saw such things until 2016. “

Prevent attacks on Ghana

The AFN said Ghana was working to prevent possible cross-border terrorist attacks, especially to make the country a close neighbor to Burkina Faso.
