The Regional Minister of Greater Accra, Henri quartey, ordered the immediate towing of all abandoned cars and the removal of pillars disregarding human and vehicular movements on the roads of Kokomlemle in his constituency.

Henri quartey gave the directive on Tuesday August 17 when he began his usual working visit to his constituency to engage with voters.

The exercise is part of the measures to rid the city of traffic obstructions, which are becoming a threat to road safety.

Trucks unloading construction materials were parked on the shoulders of the road causing heavy traffic.

He immediately instructed the truck drivers to move quickly and ordered the police and the Assembly task force to seize and tow any vehicle parked at an unauthorized location.

The Minister, in response to their concerns, instructed officers from the Assembly Works Department to visit the site and provide the necessary supervision and technical support.

“I am begging everyone in the city to follow the guidelines of the city authorities and make sure the law is working effectively,” said Henry Quartey.
