Chehre’s debut song by Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi was released on Wednesday. The romantic number “Rang Dariya” features Emraan alongside Krystle D’souza. Unlike the thrilling storyline of the film, the clip is a happy surprise projecting the sweet love story between the two main characters.
The video clip released by the creators shows the characters Emraan and Krystle dating on multiple dates and slowly falling in love with each other. There is also a hint that these characters might be dating sneakily as in one of the sequences, Krystle becomes uncomfortable as Emraan reaches out to him at a party. The TV star, who is making her Bollywood debut, is gorgeous, but the same can’t be said for her acting skills.
Composed by Gourov Dasgupta, “Rang Dariya” was written by Farhan Memon, while Yasser Desai sang. The soul song has a 90s twist with a hook, letting you instantly connect with it. However, the chemistry between Emraan and Krystle is quite a damper. I guess the song is only meant to be heard, not seen!
As Chehre prepares for its theatrical release on August 27, actress Rhea Chakraborty took to Instagram to give her take on life in ‘kalyug’. Sharing a story, the actor wrote about how holding on tight to family and loved ones will pull us out of dark times.
“We live in the ‘kal-yug’, this is the time when humanity will be challenged and human values will have ample opportunity to collapse. We need to come together, find love and compassion in our hearts, and hold on to the human values that were taught to us as children. This is the only way to live these dark times .. So hold on tight to your families and loved ones .. Because love really triumphs over everything ”, Rhea Chakraborty share.
Announcing the arrival of the films in theaters, Amitabh Bachchan shared the release date on Twitter with a short promo dialogue of the film. With the clip he wrote: “T 3995 – WARNING You have been warned! Be ready to #FaceTheGame, kyunki yeh ilzaam aap by bhi lag sakta hai. #Chehre, released on August 27 in theaters near you.
The trailer for the film revealed that Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a lawyer in the film and that Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a business executive. In the trailer, they set up a mock trial where Bachchan puts Hashmi on the stand. What starts out as a game quickly turns into an intimidating race for Hashmi’s character.
