President Nana Akufo-Addo disembarks from the presidential jet
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will leave this Sunday, August 22, 2021 for Germany.
While in Germany, the president is expected to meet with vaccine makers Pfizer with the aim of securing substantial doses for Ghana.
Presidential communications director Eugene Arhin, who revealed this noted that “This is a two-part meeting. First of all; the creation of the national vaccine institute… and, second, to help buy more vaccines.

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) is expected to take stock of 1.2 million doses of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, as the country seeks to meet its goal of vaccinating its 20 million citizens.
Nearly a thousand people have died from the Coronavirus.
