Sad as cargo vehicle crash kills 3-year-old girl and others in Gomoa

Sadly, a 3-year-old girl died in an accident in Gomoa Mpota, West Gomoa District, Central Region.

The accident that occurred Tuesday morning around 5:30 a.m. adds to the growing number of accidents recorded in various parts of the country in recent weeks.

Today’s accident in Gomoa Mpota happened when a Kia truck and a cargo vehicle collided.

Sadly, three people lost their lives, including a 3-year-old girl. In addition, a woman in her fifties and the driver of the Kia truck also died.

During this time, the driver of the Cargo truck, according to information gathered, suffered injuries.

Checks carried out revealed that the Kia truck was coming from Mankessim and heading towards Kasoa while the van was also heading in the opposite direction.

Several information gathered indicated that the driver of the Kia pickup truck caused the accident after attempting to pass.

The driver of the Cargo vehicle reported the case to Gomoa Okyereko Police Station.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the three deceased victims have been dropped off at the Apam morgue with police working to find their families.
