This is the start of our live blog for qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. We’ll have all the build-up and then the updates for the session itself, with the entries closest to the top being the most recent.

Charles LeclercFriday’s crash during testing resulted in a busy night’s work for the Ferrari mechanics, who finally decided to change the chassis. He will use this new chassis from free practice three.

For the third consecutive race weekend, Max Verstappen was involved in an accident. The first two weren’t exactly his fault, but on Friday he lost the rear and hit the wall in the second free practice session. But during this session, it was the Dutchman who set the best time.

11:30 am CEST: At what time do qualifying for the Belgian GP start?

There is no qualifying for the sprint at the Belgian Grand Prix, so we have a normal race weekend schedule. This means that qualifying will start at 3:00 p.m. CEST, either 2:00 p.m. BST for those in the UK or 9:00 a.m. EDT for fans on the east coast of the United States.
