Several deep potholes that have emerged at the Kintampo end of the Buipe Bridge have become a source of concern for motorists as traffic is disrupted in the area.
Freight trucks and passenger vehicles find it difficult to squeeze through the potholes, which are right at the tail of the bridge towards Kintampo.
This led to long lines of vehicles on both sides of the bridge waiting for their turn to cross the bridge.
Some passengers, who were caught in the situation on Saturday morning, lamented to the Ghanaian news agency that delays in the region would disrupt their plans to get to their destination on time.
They called on the government to repair potholes in the region to ensure free movement.
