Stan Dogbe, a presidential staff member under the administration of John Dramani Mahama, denied claims by the defeated New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for Kpone Kantamanso that John Mahama received financial aid from Akufo-Addo in her pursuit of a master’s degree in Russia.

In a Facebook, Stan Dogbe urged Ghanaians to ignore allegations by Hopeson Adorye who, according to his estimate, is acting desperately to get the attention of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to secure a date.

Although Hopeson Adorye did not clarify whether the alleged sponsorship came from Edward Akufo-Addo, the father of the current president, or Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo himself, Stan Dogbe’s article cited the former as the one that Adorye was referring to.

He listed a sequence of events that do not support Adorye’s claims on Net 2 TV.

“Obviously Hopeson just wants to be noticed by the Nana Addo kitchen cabinet for a position to survive.” His claims, however, are nothing more than another fabrication on the affable, modest and favorite politician of Ghana today, John Dramani Mahama.

“President Mahama entered high school on a scholarship from the Western Gonja District Council when the government of Mr. Edward Akufo-Addo was overthrown in 1972. He could not have paid President Mahama’s fees. while he was already a student as a student.

“Again, Edward Akufo-Addo could not have paid Chairman Mahama’s honoraria in the 1980s, when he died in 1979. Chairman Mahama’s studies in the USSR were funded by a Soviet scholarship awarded by the Scholarship Secretariat.

“President Mahama never personally knew or met President Akufo-Addo until they were both sworn in in Parliament on the same day in January 1997.

“The point is, everything has to do with the education of President Mahama, from elementary school until he graduates from college with a first degree which was taken care of by his father EA Mahama. When his father lived in exile in the 1980s, the expenses for his postgraduate studies were met by his late mother-in-law, Joyce Tamakloe, ”he said.

Stan Dogbe becomes the second person affiliated with John Dramani Mahama to speak out against Hopeson Adorye’s claims.

Edudzi Tamakloe, a contributor to John Mahama in a previous article, urged Adorye to refrain from peddling lies about the former president.
