Ghanaian football administrator Fredrick Ohene Gyan was assassinated in the eastern region of Ghana.
This was confirmed by a publication from the Eastern Region Football Association.
Ohene Gyan, who is the chairman of Eastern Region-based club Kwamekrom Bright Stars FC, was stabbed to death at midnight on Saturday at his own residence in the Eastern Region.
According to the report, the young administrator was stabbed several times with a knife and left in a pool of blood.

However, the killers, who were initially thought to be armed robbers, failed to steal any valuables from his house.
