Ghana to start administering Astrazeneca’s second coup on Tuesday | General news

The Greater Accra Regional Health Authority has announced that the administration of the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine will begin from August 31, 2021 to September 4, 2021 in the 29 districts of the Greater Accra region.

Members of the general public eligible to participate in this exercise are those over the age of 18 who received their first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine between March 10, 2021 and March 29, 2021.

“The general public is advised to bring a valid national identity card and their COVID-19 vaccination card for the exercise,” said a statement released by the management.

“The Regional Health Directorate wishes to urge all eligible people to fully participate in the exercise.

“The general public is also encouraged to adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols, in particular the proper wearing of face masks and strict social distancing measures, at vaccination centers.”
