President of the Land Commission congratulates Dr. Bawumia on the digitization of the Commission | General news

The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, was highly congratulated by the new President of the National Land Commission, Mr. Alex Quaynor, for his active efforts to ensure the establishment of a digital operational framework for the Land Commission .

The new Commission Chairman, in a speech during the swearing-in of a 25-member Board of Directors of the National Land Commission by Chairman Akufo-Addo at Jubilee House yesterday September 1, also expressed his gratitude to Vice President Bawumia for his tireless efforts which led to the achievement of the feat and the transformation of the Land Commission.

“Your Excellency Mr. President, the commitment of the Vice-President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Bawumia, to bring the Draft Plan to its current stage of implementation must be recognized. “ said Mr. Alex Quaynor.

He maintained that Vice President Bawumia is to be commended for his tireless efforts to ensure that Ghana is not left out of the global digital age.

The digitization of the Land Commission will remove the bottlenecks associated with land registration in Ghana and the process of acquiring a land title certificate.

The goal is to process the land title within 30 days. It would also stimulate the mortgage market in Ghana.
