Many states in the United States have experienced heavy rains, tornadoes, flooding and other disasters due to the bad weather associated with Hurricane Ida in recent days. Eight states include New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Pennsylvania to the east, and Colorado to the west.
As of September 4, more than 63 deaths in eight states were linked to the devastating storm.
US President Joe Biden visited Louisiana, where more than 820,000 homes are still without electricity. Biden said the hurricane reminded the United States to speed up infrastructure construction.
