The late Daniel Wadie passed away on Wednesday September 9
Members of the main men’s room at the University of Ghana, Commonwealth and by extension the entire student body were mourned over the loss of a senior colleague.
The deceased, identified as Daniel Anane Wadie according to an Adomonline report, died at the university hospital where he was being treated for an undisclosed illness on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
There was some confusion about Daniel’s latest message he allegedly posted on his WhatsApp status.
According to the Adomonline report, its status was as follows:
“When my body is gone, remember my heart.”
He is said to have been a Member of Parliament at the University of Ghana.
Reacting to his disappearance on social media, some of Daniel Wadie’s colleagues mourned him with the #RIPVandalDanny and #LegonIsRed.
A candlelight vigil was also organized in his honor on Friday September 10 on the school campus.
