Salt Lake Potash Ltd. announced Monday that it has appointed Isak Buitendag as chief executive.
Mr. Buitendag will join the potash company from the Kazzinc Ltd. subsidiary. from Glencore PLC, where he was Managing Director of Transformation. Previously, Mr. Buitendag held management positions in companies such as JSC TNC Kazchrome, BHP Group Ltd. and Fortescue Metals Group Ltd.
The appointment will take place no later than November 15. Mr. Buitendag will receive an annual cash salary of AU $ 400,000 (US $ 294,120) in addition to the incentive plans and bonuses.
