The recently completed Macfrut Expo 2021 Special Edition was a great success, according to some attendees and industry experts.
As expected, thousands of people participated in person and online as exhibitors, buyers, decision makers and industry experts.
The Italian Trade Agency in Ghana, dedicated to strengthening economic and trade relations between Italy and Ghana, offered to bring businesses and individuals in Ghana to participate in what was to be a life-changing experience.
True to their intentions, many companies and exhibitors from Ghana participated in the fair and had many exciting experiences.
Some of the local businesses that have benefited from this year’s Macfrut include Ohu Farms, HPW Fresh and Dry GH Ltd, Maphlix Trust GH Ltd, and 3E Farms and Foods Ltd.
They are a testament to the visibility and collaboration they have had regarding access to equipment and machinery and to a larger market for their products.
The excellent and enviable bilateral relations between Ghana and Italy are a testament to our common and individual commitment to national growth and development.
Macfrut enables farmers, manufacturers, equipment makers and others in the agricultural space to share and exchange ideas, collaborate on business and form successful business partnerships.
It is hoped that building on the successes of this year’s exhibition; successive exhibitions will see greater participation from Ghanaian individuals and businesses.
Through the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian government is committed to supporting the private sector and stimulating economic and trade cooperation.
Together with the Italian Export Credit Agency – SACE, they opened an office in Accra, located in the premises of the Italian Embassy.
These entities work closely with Ghanaian institutions to promote business and investment opportunities to assess common priorities and carry out joint activities.
These efforts help generate wealth and stimulate and support growth.
