The environmental sanitation working group of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly arrested ten people on Wednesday (October 6th) for defecation in public.

The 10 people arrested are John Ainoo, Ekow Annan, Ekow Tekyie, Anthony Wallace, Ibrahim Alhassan, Kweku Antwi, Emmanuel Kora, Abdul Razak, Isaac Yankey and Daniel Essel. They were arrested in the areas of Sekondi, Kojokrom, Kokompe, Tanokrom and New Takoradi.

Each culprit was fined GHS 200.00 in cash, after which he was strongly advised to refrain from such practices or risk prosecution next time.
