Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante made a transfer to Al Jazeera in the United Arab Emirates before the next campaign.
The 29-year-old joined FC Nordsjælland of Norwegian club Stabæk and quickly became a mainstay. He scored five goals in 30 games.
The playmaker continued his devastating campaign last season by scoring 16 goals in 36 games to help the Wild Tigers qualify for the UEFA Europa League playoffs.
On Wednesday, FC Nordsjælland's sports director, Carsten Jensen, confirmed that he had transferred the Ghanaian to the Al Jazeera club in the United Arab Emirates
