The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Amaju Melvin Pinnick 1st Vice President of the governing body of football on the African continent.
Following the resignation of the 1st vice-president Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, president of the CAF, after consulting the members of the emergency committee, appointed Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick 1st vice-president.

This decision is immediately applicable, pursuant to Article 27 para. 2 of the Statutes, which will be ratified by the Executive Committee at its session scheduled for September 27 and 28, 2018.
