CM Punk says Pro Wrestling is not on his radar but says he listened to an offer

CM Punk recently told MMA Fighting the news that Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks are starting a new fight promotion …

About Cody Rhodes & the Young Bucks Start a promotion: I think for the moment, whatever these men decide to do, it will be very good for them and their families. If I were asked what I would do or say to them – because they could obviously go to the WWE when they wanted – it's just a question of whether it's best for your family? And I think we live in a time when WWE is not the end in every way. I do not think that's the case for quite a long time. I think the stigma that exists is still there and will probably persist for many, many years. But there are enough people who have stayed there and who, I suppose, boast of knowing, "Hey, you know what, the place is not all that." And I'm at a place where I left what, five years? Maybe the place has changed. I have people who text me and tell me the opposite, but there is way to make money and support your family outside of that. Being able to also satisfy the creative side of your brain, the love side of professional wrestling, is why you bought a pair of boots. And I think these guys can really do that. I think they can order their price if they want it there. But if they went, they would just be another guy – like everyone else on this show. It's amazing, the more time the series saves, the less they seem to develop new characters. If you want to bring everything back to the situation, that's exactly what I'm talking about with CFFC. I do not just talk, oh here are two fighters. Here are two human beings who have family and friends and you can look at all these things without sticking to them and try to sell something that the wrestlers in the ring, that the fighters are not trying to sell. If these guys will all create their own project, they will have more power. Let me close the whole circle again, I'm not actively looking for a lot of things. I'm just a little floating. And it's a good thing to be able to hang out and hang out and if someone wants to pick up the phone like Dave Sholler did and call me to say, "Hey, we really think you'd be fine. and we want you to be part of your business, "they can contact me and make an offer. It remains to be seen. Pro Wrestling is not on my radar.

If yes or no he would listen to an offer to return to the fight?: I would always listen. I would listen to them because, just like Dave, I like Young Bucks. I text with Matt on and off. But business is business. I know Cody was in the media saying that an offer had been made [for the All In event Sept. 1]. An offer was not made. Call me or text me saying, "Hey, if you want to come to the show and do something, we would like it not to be an offer. This is not an offer. There are other things. I'm still trying to attach a few more points to completely get away from the world of professional wrestling. I have the feeling to be always attached to it since the day I left it and it is mainly because of the fugazis lawyers and others. But we are closing all this and it's going to end. And once I'm really free, we can explore the world and just float and hang out. And I can walk my dog, drink coffee, comment on Dave Sholler and continue to coach at Roufusport. And do all kinds of things. I deserved it, I paid my dues.
