Despite winning mostly negative reviews, Venom has become one of the biggest successes of the year, earning over 800 million dollars worldwide. The spin-off of Spider-Man arises on home video in time for the holidays: Digital HD on December 11 and Blu-ray and DVD on December 18. The video output of the movie at home brings an impressive amount of special features and deleted scenes, detailed below.
In the film, journalist Eddie Brock tries to defeat Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake's experiments, Eddie's body merges with the Venom stranger, leaving him with superhuman strength and strength.
