The Blancos have taken another positive step in the defense of their European crown, with an impressive local talent against the Roma
Marcos Llorente was "spectacular" in Real Madrid's 2-0 victory in Rome, according to teammate Lucas Vazquez.
The head coach Santiago Solari has offered Llorente a first start in the Champions League to replace the injured Brazilian international Casemiro.
At 23, Gareth Bale and Vazquez took the win at Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday.

Llorente completed 91.1% of his pbades, a higher accuracy rate than teammate Luka Modric, and Vazquez praised the product of the academy.
"Llorente played a spectacular game," said Vazquez after scoring his first goal of the season.
"It was not easy for this match, he had a lot of personality and a lot of enthusiasm, we have to be very happy with him.
"The matches are more and more difficult, it was very tight and it could have been won by anybody. [first] purpose gave us confidence. "
Madrid, holder of the Champions League, has recovered from his 3-0 defeat to Eibar in his first match since the permanent nomination of Solari.

"The important thing was to find the sensations after a very bad match in Eibar," added Vazquez.
"I think we played very well, we played as a team in both attack and defense.
"I am very happy with the goal, I really wanted to score to dedicate it to my son."
