The Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, has proposed the institutionalization of a student exchange program between Ghana and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Prime Minister Gonsalves explained the proposal when he paid a courtesy call on President Akufo-Addo in his office as part of his five-day visit to Ghana.

According to the Prime Minister, this suggestion would imply that students from Ghana come to St. Vincent to study with all the fees paid by the state, while Ghana will do the same for the students of Saint Vincent.
