The Agape Ministry of Restoration church in Tema (community 19) was attacked and vandalized on Wednesday, November 28 by a group of ground guards armed with machetes.
Approximately 30 rangers stormed the church premises around 8:30 am to ransack the entire square on Wednesday.
Selorm Hayford, one of the church members, told ClbadFMonline.com that the ground guards were demanding the two-plot property on which the church stands, for a politician who had already contested the seat of parliament in Krowor.
The marauding ground rangers vandalized all the structures of the property as well as the cars.
During the violence, the ground guards inflicted injuries on the chief pastor, the prophet Ebenezer Arthur, as well as his badistant pastor and three others.
The pastor and the injured church members are being treated at Dampong Hospital on the Spintex Road.
Some church members filed a complaint with the police who later stormed the place.
