Cowboys announce historic partnership in football

ARLINGTON, Texas – As part of a historic partnership, the Dallas Cowboys, Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF), FC Dallas and the Dallas Sports Commission announced that the Mexican national team's tour would be held in North Texas until in 2022.

As part of this partnership, North Texas will host an annual match of the Mexican National Team for the next four years at the AT & T stadium, starting June 9, 2019.

The partnership will extend well beyond the current games. FC Dallas will host parties to watch matches outside the Mexican market to inspire enthusiasm for the AT & T stadium annual game. MLS will also participate in youth clinics and community initiatives.

In conjunction with the Dallas Sports Commission, Mexico will participate in local community initiatives aimed at developing sport and promoting the growing Hispanic population, including a bilingual children's reading program. There will also be events throughout the year in Dallas / Fort Worth, culminating in a celebration of sport and culture at a fan party in downtown Dallas before each game.
