"We closed the site, possibly permanently," said 17-year-old Lam in an email to CultofMac.com.
The reason Lam closed the site whiteiPhone4now.com is unclear. He did not elaborate. But Apple is the obvious suspect. Lam has already received a threatening letter from a private investigator representing Apple, accusing him of "stolen property sales".
Lam would have earned more than 130,000 USD by delivering a white iPhone 4 with gray market components.
