Rondale Moore Highlights Purdue Honors

Rondale Moore continues to add to the honors and honors badociated with her freshman season at Purdue.

After being named the best return of the Big Ten conference on Tuesday, Moore was named best freshman and catcher of the league on Wednesday. Moore was also named in the first All-Big Ten team by the media and coaches of the league. Moore is the first Purdue player to be named the first team of the conference since 2013.

Moore finished the regular season as the league leader in receptions (103), receptions (1164) and touchdowns (12).

Quarterback David Blough has been named third All-Big Ten team by the media. Although he did not start the season as a starting quarterback, Blough was second in the league in badists (3,521), second in touchdown (25) and number yards per attempt (9.3). Blough is the first quarterback of Purdue to win all the honors of the conference since Kyle Orton in 2004.

After finishing the regular season with 32 receptions for 564 yards and two touchdowns, Brycen Hopkins was also selected for the third team by the media. Blough and Hopkins were named selections with honorable mention by the league coaches.

Four other offensive Purdue players earned an honorable mention: Center Kirk Barron (coaches and media), right forward Matt McCann (coaches and media), D.J. Knox (coaches) and Isaac Zico (media).
