Last injury to Steph Curry: the date of return to the NBA set for the star of Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors will welcome superstar Steph Curry in their lineup against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.

Curry is one of the biggest names in the NBA, but he has missed his last 10 games since his groin injury against the Milwaukee Bucks on November 8th.

Since the injury, Curry has also been involved in a stack of several vehicles that destroyed his £ 110,000 Porsche but came out unscathed.

He will be rested for the Warriors game against the Toronto Raptors tonight before heading to Detroit for the Saturday night game.

And coach Steve Kerr revealed that he had opted for a cautious approach with his star leader, who had a lot of basketball in front of him.

"If it was a playoff game, it would absolutely play," Kerr told reporters. "But it's November, prudence is the word of the day."

Curry is a most valuable player in the NBA twice and is looking to lead the Warriors to a third consecutive title in the NBA.

They struggled in the absence of Curry, winning five wins and five losses without their talisman, and his return will give a welcome boost to the Golden State franchise.

Curry spoke of his desire to play in Toronto Thursday night in a city where he lived when his father, Dell, played for the Raptors from 1999 to 2002.

But he seems ready to come back with vengeance when he is unleashed by the Warriors this weekend.

"It's been about three weeks, so I can not wait to get in," Curry told reporters on Thursday.

The Warriors are currently just behind the LA Clippers at the Western Conference summit, but they still have only 22 games in their regular season of 82 games.
