It was an intimate affair, with only close family and friends present. Deepika chose a unique red and gold lehenga for Anand Karaj, while Ranveer opted for a matching sherwani in red gold brocade. During Konkani's wedding, Deepika chose a sumptuous hand-embroidered red, rust and gold saree, and the avatar of Ranveer Konkani's groom – he wore a veshti, kurta and ivvastram in gold and ivory – suited him perfectly. A few days later, on November 21, Deepika and Ranveer were looking for nothing less than kings at their reception in Bengaluru.
