Arsenal manager Unai Emery has named Jordi Osei Tutu, a young Ghanaian of English nationality, on his team for the Europa League match against Vorskla Poltava.
The 20-year-old is one of seven other young players named to the squad that will face Ukraine on Thursday night.
According to Unai Emery, young Arsenal players deserve to be able to enjoy this experience in games like this one.
"We have a great responsibility with young players," said Emery. "At Arsenal, we work very well every year with young players.
"When there are matches like Thursday in a big week for us, where we play a lot, we have players to cover here. We must give them chances.
"They work with us in all sessions and also in pre-season. They come with us because we can give them chances tomorrow and also because we would prefer that some players do not make this long trip. We prefer that they stay in London for the next game on Sunday.
"The Europa League is very important to us and it is very important for us to win on Thursday and to have priority in this group. Young players will have chances.
"So you know that some players like Eddie Nketiah, like Willock, like Emile Smith Rowe, played. Then, other young players accompany us like Bukayo, Dominic, Zech and Charlie. For us, it's no different because they work with us every day. "
