Brie Lason, who is ready to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with his future Captain Marvel, commented on his absence in the Avengers Endgame trailer.
Larson's character, Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, will join the Avengers' fight against Thanos in Avengers Endgame. But before that, she will star in her independent film Captain Marvel. The film is directed by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden.
Speaking to TNT Brazil, she refused to reveal any other details and simply said, "Where is she? I wonder where she is. Hmmm, you may have to wait to find out.
The first indication of Captain Marvel's presence we saw in the MCU was in Avengers' ultimate credits scene: Infinity War in April of this year. Just before Nick Fury and Maria Hill disintegrated into ashes after Thanos had snapped his fingers, Fury managed to send a signal to Carol Danvers with the aid of a pager-like device.
Captain Marvel will be the first superhero movie directed by a woman in the MCU. The character has been called the most powerful superhero of the universe by the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige.
In the 1990s, Captain Marvel will also present the famous Kree-Skrull scenario to the franchise. Captain Marvel also has Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto and Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening and Clark Gregg.
Captain Marvel is on the screens on March 8, 2019.
