For many, the name itself is certainly disappointing, which may suggest the use of 7 nm of the Zen 2 technology process (Ryzen 3000 on desktops). Users less familiar with this terminology should be aware of the differences between the two series. Ryzen 3 3300U, Ryzen 5 3500U and Ryzen 7 3700U are just slightly refreshed systems with higher clocks and slightly more powerful integrated systems, Radeon Vega 6, Vega 8 and Vega 10. There was also something for fans of desktop components. The pearl among the computers presented was certainly the Dell Alienware Area 51 Threadripper Edition. This monstrous PC is equipped with an AMD Threadripper 2950X processor with 16 cores and 32 threads and an AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card. I have to admit that the case is very futuristic. The triangular shape, the ubiquitous LEDs or the characteristic Alien logo at the front are just a few elements of the set. The stand itself was very interesting and atmospheric, and it is a shame that you can not see the new Radeon VII graphics card and the 3000 series of Ryzen engineering samples.
