The management of the Emefs estate denies claims that an official of the Ghana Ports and Harbors Administration (GPHA) was killed, followed by his badbadin from the city through the estate gates leading to his room.
A statement released by the company has touted what they describe as vigilant and resilient security personnel, which prevents intruders from gaining access.
Sitsope Akpebu, general manager of the company, said that Josephine Asante's servant had become the prime suspect in the case, as a result of inconsistencies in her statement to the police.
"All hands are pointing to the servant because his stories do not add up because we do not know how the person came into the house," he told Joy News Maxwell Agbagba.
The statement came as police opened an investigation into the death of GPHA's director of marketing and public relations.

Afienya police said Ms. Asante was found stabbed Sunday morning at her home in Emefs Estate, Afienya, near Tema.
The 49-year-old mother lived in her house with her son and a servant at the time of the incident.
According to the police, the servant reportedly told them he saw a strange man leave the house at dawn.
This, Mr. Akpebu contests.
"Contrary to speculation that an badbadin or a group of murderers would have followed the deceased's home through the gates to commit the heinous act, we wish to make it clear that he was not nothing."
"All Emefs areas, namely: lagoon views, hill views, palaces and gardens are walled and well protected by highly vigilant and resilient security personnel.

"It was impossible for an badbadin or a group of badbadins to follow the victim into the property without being noticed and being approached," the company said in a press release.
The general manager stated that the servant's stories were contradictory, which makes it difficult to believe.
"According to police sources, they would have found him burying objects – such as the deceased's watch and a sum of money – when the police went there," he said.
"As we continue to work closely with the police to resolve the mystery, we urge all residents, business partners and other stakeholders to remain calm and carry out their activities while investigations into the heinous crime continue. "Warned the company.
