The legal practitioner has rejected the offer to be part of ad hoc committees appointed to manage football in the country
Ntow Fianko Esq, former chairman of the board of Ghana's Division 1, refused to sit on one of the six ad-hoc committees appointed on Tuesday to manage the current state of football in the country.
Fianko has been appointed to an eight-member committee to deal with the problems of the national league, which will continue until new elections are held at the Ghana Football Federation.
"No official from the standardization committee has contacted me to sit on the ad hoc committee," Fianko said. Atinka FM.
"Even if they had contacted me earlier, I would have told them that I would not be available for this opportunity, I will let them know that I am currently busy because of other commitments elsewhere and that I can not be part of it, "he added.
Each of the six committees has one month to submit their reports for review.
Goal understands that the chairman of the standardization committee, Dr. Kofi Amoah, has scheduled a meeting with Fianko in the coming days to convince him to reverse his decision.
