Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin advised former President John Dramani Mahama to prioritize education and infrastructure in the event of re-election as president.
"If, by the grace of God, you are re-elected president, give priority to education and infrastructure to create opportunities."

Then addressing the delegates, Mr. Mahama praised CND's achievements in Kyebi. He mentioned the construction of Apedwa junctions in Kibi and Asiakwa, as well as the Kyebi water treatment plant as the two major monumental projects executed while in government.
He told delegates that the NDC party did not discriminate when adding to the government, this ensures that development is distributed equally regardless of political dynamics in certain areas.
Mahama called on delegates to vote for him as a standard-bearer to bring the NDC back to power in 2020 to save Ghanaians from the misery of poor NPP governance.
