The contracts of EXID members expire soon.
On January 17, several representatives of the music industry said that EXID members' contracts expired soon and that a first contract expired in February. Although the expiry date of each member's contract varies, all members must decide if they wish to renew their contract before this year.
They further stated that members planned to follow separate trails and that some members had already contacted other agencies.
In response, Banana Culture said in an official statement: "EXID is committed to working with us until May 2019 and a Japanese tour is scheduled for February. They are also preparing to release a studio album after the tour. "
The company continued: "EXID plans to complete all scheduled events before the expiration of its contract. Each member will participate in an in-depth individual discussion of contract renewal, either at the end of January or in February.
