The Central Regional Police Command arrested four people linked to the murder of a 14-year-old girl, Ivy Tsibu, for alleged ritual purposes in Twifo Agona, in the central region.
The main suspect, Kwabena Asamoah, aged 35, was arrested in hiding on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. After another interrogation, he mentioned Abraham Entie, 28, Kofi Owusu, 36, and Akwasi Asamoah.

Regional Police Central Area Public Relations Officer Irene Oppong, Superintendent of Police (DSP), said the deceased's father, Mr. George Tsibu, filed a report on Saturday, January 12, 2019. on his daughter at the Morkwa Police Station. who had disappeared.
According to her, Mr. Tsibu indicated that at around 9:00 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019, his daughter, Ivy Tsibu, had left the house, was not returning and that he suspected Akwasi Asamoah of having abducted her.
DSP Oppong said at about 1 pm on the same day, a search team found the body of the deceased at Twifo Agona Cemetery, after which the police with the complainant went to the scene and found the body of the deceased with ants all over the body.
