Investigators from the private investigation company Tiger Eye PI say they are overwhelmed by grief after the shocking murder of a member of their team, Ahmed Hussein.Suale.
Ahmed, the investigative partner of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, was shot dead Wednesday by unknown badailants in Madina, a suburb of Accra, as he was returning home on a motorcycle.
He was hit twice in the chest and once in the neck. Police reports say that he died instantly. No personal belongings of Ahmed were stolen, which suggests that it was a targeted killing.
In a statement, the Tiger Eye PI team said that it sympathized with Ahmed's family for this painful loss and prayed to Allah to give them the strength to bear the grief.

Ahmed HusseinSuale, an investigative journalist and member of the Tiger Eye PI team, was murdered last night in Madina by two armed men on a motorcycle while driving home. The two unidentified men fled after shooting Ahmed at close range, twice in the chest and once in the neck, killing him instantly, according to Madina police investigators. The body has since been transported to the morgue of the police hospital in Accra.
